Airport Taxis
The College has arranged for discount fares on airport taxis operating from O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport to area hotels. One-way taxi fare from O’Hare International Airport to downtown Chicago is approximately $35 – $45 and $25 – $28 from Midway International Airport.

Amtrak

Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the lowest available rail fare to Chicago between March 26, 2008 – April 4, 2008.  To book your reservation call Amtrak at (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X34Q-923 when making your reservation.

This offer is not valid on the Auto Train. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional and Acela service for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

Parking
Currently the parking rate is $16 at McCormick Place (subject to change). This is a flat fee regardless of the amount of time the vehicle is parked. Parking fees can be paid by cash or credit card; VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. Parking lots are open throughout event hours. Overnight parking is not available. Most Chicago hotels have parking facilities. Check with the hotel property for specific information and rates.

Convention Shuttle Service
Shuttle bus services are provided for individuals who make reservations through J. Spargo & Associates. Shuttle buses to and from hotels and the Convention Center will be available Saturday, March 29 through Tuesday, April 1. Traffic delays are expected throughout the city between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and noon due to higher volume of cars and runners in the city. There are several shuttle routes that will be directly impacted by the race due to street closures. We will attempt to service these hotels for as long as we can but there may be a period of time when shuttle service will be suspended because we are unable to access them. Service will be reinstated as soon as the course is lifted.

We recommend that attendees plan accordingly and attempt to utilize the shuttle between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 8: 00 a.m.
