Online Registration
ACC Online Users. ACC Online Users are those who have registered with one of the College’s online resources in the past — Cardiosource users, members who have logged into the member directory, members who have registered for ACC Annual Scientific Sessions online in the past. Typically, your username is your e-mail address, and your password is your ACC ID number. These can be reset by clicking on section #2 Forgot Password or by contacting the Resource Center at resource@acc.org or (800) 253-4636, ext. 5603. Outside the United States or Canada, call (202) 375-6000, ext. 5603.
Once you provide their username and password the registration form for ACC.08 will automatically be pre-populated with your personal information.
Not registered as an ACC online user? It’s simple to use the online registration system, even if you’re not an ACC online user. Simply click on the first time user box and sign up to become an ACC online user. The name entered should be the person who will be registering for ACC.08.
Confirmations. E-mail confirmation will be sent once your registration is complete. If you do not receive a confirmation once registration is complete, please contact J. Spargo & Associates at (800) 699-5113 or (703) 449-6418 outside the United States.
Membership Information
Are you an ACC or SCAI Member? ACC and SCAI Members must be up to date on their 2008 dues before registering for ACC.08 and the SCAI Annual Scientific Sessions in Partnership with ACC i2 Summit. If you have not paid your dues, you will be registered in the nonmember category and charged the nonmember fee. The ACC and SCAI grant no refunds after you have registered.
ACC CCA Members Only. Become a member of the ACC by Feb. 21, 2008, and you will be eligible for the discounted member registration fee. If you register and then become a member after Feb. 21, 2008, you will not be eligible for the reduced rate.
General Registration Information
All attendees will be required to show a photo ID at the registration counter in Chicago. The ACC and SCAI are requiring identification to protect your safety. Please be prepared.
General meeting information, badges and tickets will be mailed to advance registrants approximately three weeks before the meeting. The ACC provides the Final Program and portfolios on site.
Program Presenters. ACC.08 abstract presenters should register in the Scientific Session Abstract Presenter category. Registrations will not be accepted in this category until Dec. 18, 2007. Abstract presenters who wish to register and secure housing before abstract notification should register in the appropriate category (member, nonmember, etc.) and request a refund of overpaid fees if their abstract is accepted. Please allow four to six weeks for refunds to be processed.
ACC.08 structured session faculty should register in the appropriate category. The registration fee for structured session presenters is waived. ALL presenters must register online or complete a registration form to obtain a hotel reservation and meeting badge
International Registrants. Visa processing may require long lead times. Please plan accordingly! Click here for additional information for international registrants. Letters of Invitation for visa purposes can also be accessed online.
Registration Cancellations, Substitutions and Refunds. All requests for refunds for cancellation or registration category adjustments will be processed, less a $50 administrative fee. Registration fees are non-refundable after Feb. 21, 2008. Cancelled registrations are non transferable.
In cases of emergency, all refund requests received after Feb. 21, 2008 will be processed on a case-by-case basis once the College returns from ACC.08 in Chicago. All refund requests must be received at the ACC in writing no later than June 30, 2008 in order to be considered.
Family member registrant cancellations will be assessed a $20 fee.
Hotel Information
Hotel Reservations. The ACC and SCAI have worked to provide ACC.08 and the SCAI Scientific Sessions in Partnership with ACC i2 Summit registrants with a wide selection of quality hotel rooms with competitive rates in downtown Chicago. Click here to download the Hotel Information and Map. Hotel accommodations may be reserved through J. Spargo & Associates until March 7, 2008. A special block of rooms are additionally being held for SCAI-ACCi2 attendees at the Intercontinental Chicago, Sheraton Chicago, Chicago Marriott and Hyatt Regency Chicago. This block of rooms is based on availability through December 17, 2007. Book early to get your preferred hotel choice!
Individuals requiring hotel reservations must register for ACC.08, the SCAI Scientific Sessions in Partnership with ACC i2 Summit or both. J. Spargo & Associates processes hotel reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis. Hotels will not accept reservations directly for rooms before March 10, 2008.
A credit card for one night’s room and tax deposit is required with registration fees. The hotel will not charge a deposit if you cancel your reservation seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled arrival date.
Two payments are required during the registration process; one for registration and one for housing. The registration payment will be charged immediately to your card. The hotel deposit will be charged to your card directly by the hotel.
Hotel Changes and Cancellations. All changes and cancellations in hotel reservations must be made through J. Spargo & Associates by March 7, 2008. Beginning March 10 changes and cancellations must be directed to the hotel. Changes are based on availability and at the sole discretion of the hotel.
